Stinkerella & Stinkzilla

I've always really wanted a baby, and when I picture my babies, they're cute and adorable and everything a baby should be. But let's say one day I got curious about what they would look like, and I did not like what I found. Not one little bit.

Meet Stinkerella and Stinkzilla.

Oh, my lanta.

In our defence, the last one, Stinkzilla, was made with pictures where me and Tyler were in high school....so good thing we didn't have a baby then. Maybe they get cuter as we age? Let's hope so. And if that's the case, I think we need to wait a couple more years.

Voltaire, Hair

My whole life long I have loved long hair; hair that is thick and shiny and smooth and oh so long. I dream of long hair, I crave long hair, I am obsessed with long hair... and I get stuck with this.

Short-thin-frizzy-wont-grow hair with two balls of curliness coming out of my forehead. Seriously, hair on my forehead? What the heck. Go away.

I consider any girl with long hair beautiful. If you have long hair, I envy you more than you know. I stare at girls when they have long hair and dream that some day my hair will decide to grow.

Ugh, this makes me want to cry. I'm in love, and I will never get it.

Before I get too depressed, I am happy to announce that my hair HAS grown from last year. It was stuck at the same length for five years, probably getting shorter if that's even possible. For those who know that my hair doesn't grow, be prepared to be amazed.

Hurray! These were taken basically exactly a year apart, so maybe there is hope for my luscious locks after all.

Ps. Don't mind my boobs and the fact that I'm burnt to a crisp in the first picture. I had some trouble finding pictures where my extensions weren't in.

Birthdays

My Ty Baby's 21, all grown up.

I wish everyone could meet Tyler. He acts all shy and everything, but I promise he's not. He's crazy and freak'n hilarious. He makes me laugh every single day. He's also probably the greatest boy I've ever met. I'd go crazy without him. I blogged once about him here. I'd watch all the videos if I were you. It will make you smile.

Since it was Tyler's birthday, we obviously had to make a fort. We made it perfect so we could watch TV while we were in it. It was sweet.

Jealous? I thought so.

Wishin' and Hopin'

I best be writing on my blog more often, or I'm going to have a pretty bare book.

Me + Tyler + School + No work lately = The poorest couple I know. Not lying. But for that one day when Tyler is finally done school, I have plenty of things I want.

1. A cute little cottage house in the woods. I think it sounds dreamy and romantic.

2. A bullboxer. I die every time I see one. I've never seen one in real life, but these pictures make me squeel.

Of course, he'll never replace Chevy. Chevy is our numero uno.

3. Everything that's in Anthropologie, and I mean everything. All the house things are magical, including their doorknobs.

4. A grand piano. I love my keyboard, but I would really love this. In my cottage in the woods. It would be perfect.

And I could go on and on for probably another zillion (approximately) pages, but I'll stop there. I would be one happy girl if I got even one thing on my list. One day, right?

But You Love To Cuddle

New Year's Resolution No. 1: Be a better blogger.

I don't keep a journal. Maybe I should start a journal because blogs stress me out. I can think about a post for days in my head (literally days) trying to think of what to write. But here's my little motivation. Turning my blog into a book sounds pretty prime to me, so (hint hint TYLER), for Christmas next year, that's what I'm asking for.

New Year's Resolution No. 2: Relax.

I stress out over everything. Tyler had a test the other day, and I'm pretty sure I was more stressed about it than he was, and that's not because he wasn't stressed about it because he was freaking out too.
I stress about work, I stress about visiting teachers coming, I stress about my house being clean, I stress about keeping New Year's Resolutions. Burt, RELAX.

Good thing I have Ty to keep me calmed down most of the time. Take, for example, last week. I went to bed stressed about who knows what, and when I'm stressed I am a brat and SUPER annoying to be with. Tyler went to cuddle me, and I was not in the mood. There was absolutely no way, but then out of nowhere Tyler says in this most puzzled voice I've ever heard(seriously so confused) "Burt, but you love to cuddle with your Ty Baby." Freak, Tyler, how am I supposed to say no to that? I do love cuddling with my Ty Baby, and what can't a little cuddling fix? Nothing. It fixes everything, I assure you.

So this year, Brittney is relaxed. I think on the Lulu bags it says that stress is related to 99% of all illness or something like that? That's ridiculous.

So here's to relaxing this year.
This is the best picture of the year, am I right people? (Am I right people was definitely stolen from MTV Live. I laugh my face off every day watching that. I advise everyone to watch it)

The Stockings Were Hung

Let's just for a second close our eyes and think about sitting by a nice, warm fireplace drinking hot chocolate. Do you not just get the BEST COZIEST feeling in the world? I do.

Lucky for me, me and Tyler have a nice big fireplace in our house. I honestly love it. AND since we have an awesome fireplace, what would Christmas be without stockings to hang, right?

These are our stockings

If you looked at them and thought that they were weirdly shaped, that's probably because they are. I'm not the greatest sewer in the world, but they worked out better than I thought they would, so I'm happy!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS

Sonny Bonny

Here Comes Sonia
She has Ammonia
Her favorite Food is Lasagna
Me and Sonia made up that poem once when we were probably 12. I'm pretty sure she's never had ammonia in her whole entire life, and I don't even know if her favorite food is lasagna, but it all rhymed, and it's the best poem ever.

I FINALLY got to go visit her in Utah! Oh, I miss that girl. It was just the three girls, me, my mom, and Sonia, and seriously, I had so much fun. I have the greatest family ever. I'm the luckiest.

I think I need to tell everyone how completely the same my mom and Sonj are. Honestly, they're the same person.
They both like the same things
Hate the same things
Get grossed out by the same things
Are clean freaks
Get paranoid about every single little thing
Get stressed out about pretty much everything
and they're definitely both a little frazzle-brained, but that's why I love them. I LOL'd the whole trip.

We all bought the same glasses, for $2.

They're sweet.

Since this whole blog is dedicated to Sonia, here's a little slideshow I made up super quick. The pictures are lame cuz they're all from this year basically with three older ones, but it's the song that everyone needs to listen too.
Me and Sonia LOVED Barney. We used to act it out while we watched it, and I had the BIGGEST crush on Michael. Michael from Barney is hot. This song is from Barney, and I think me and Sonia sang it once at a talent show? It's my favorite song. Oh, and I cut the song in half. It was way too long and I didn't have that much pictures.
