Sonny Bonny

Here Comes Sonia
She has Ammonia
Her favorite Food is Lasagna
Me and Sonia made up that poem once when we were probably 12. I'm pretty sure she's never had ammonia in her whole entire life, and I don't even know if her favorite food is lasagna, but it all rhymed, and it's the best poem ever.

I FINALLY got to go visit her in Utah! Oh, I miss that girl. It was just the three girls, me, my mom, and Sonia, and seriously, I had so much fun. I have the greatest family ever. I'm the luckiest.

I think I need to tell everyone how completely the same my mom and Sonj are. Honestly, they're the same person.
They both like the same things
Hate the same things
Get grossed out by the same things
Are clean freaks
Get paranoid about every single little thing
Get stressed out about pretty much everything
and they're definitely both a little frazzle-brained, but that's why I love them. I LOL'd the whole trip.

We all bought the same glasses, for $2.

They're sweet.

Since this whole blog is dedicated to Sonia, here's a little slideshow I made up super quick. The pictures are lame cuz they're all from this year basically with three older ones, but it's the song that everyone needs to listen too.
Me and Sonia LOVED Barney. We used to act it out while we watched it, and I had the BIGGEST crush on Michael. Michael from Barney is hot. This song is from Barney, and I think me and Sonia sang it once at a talent show? It's my favorite song. Oh, and I cut the song in half. It was way too long and I didn't have that much pictures.

awkward....

I'm hopeless at keeping up on anything. Okay, what was I thinking having a Scrumptious Sunday? Really, have I stuck to any routine in my whole entire life? No. Was I super busy these past two weeks that I didn't have time to do it? No.

On a side note, I'm the most AWKWARD person alive. It's true. My poor visiting teachers. They're the nicest girls alive. They came here this month for the first time because our ward just got switched around, and I'm pretty sure they'll never come again. Actually, they will come again because they're too nice not to, but they're going to dread it. My awkwardness emits off me and absorbs into anyone who's in the same room as me. It was a nightmare for them, I'm sure. Just so awkward.

Scrumptious Sunday: Homemade Chicken Pot Pie

Sundays may just become the only days I blog. The week just goes by so fast!

My scrumptious sunday this week WAS going to be S'mores Cookies -- Two of my favorite things baked into one! Chocolate chip cookies and s'mores...sounds delicious, right? I'm sure it would be delicious too if I wasn't such a tard at baking. I failed badly at these cookies.

They look good, but they're doughy on the bottom. I tried cooking the other batch more, and the top burnt bad and the bottom was still doughy.

Mine was an epic fail, but if anyone wants to give a try, go to Mrs. Harding Cooks. It's over there <----------- under good stuff. And if the cookies work out, please invite me over and let me have a taste.

So the recipe today? Homemade Chicken Pot Pie. It's my most favorite thing I've made for dinner, and that's probably because it has no vegetables in it and it's SUPER easy to cook.

Ingredients
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 can of corn, drained
2 cups of cubed COOKED chicken or turkey
1 package (8 1/2 ounces) corn muffin mix
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/2 cup shredded cheese

* Heat the oven to 400 degrees. Stir the soup, corn, and chicken in a 9-inch pie plate (I used a casserole dish, and it worked out just fine)
* Stir the muffin mix, milk, and egg with a fork in a small bowl until the ingredients are mixed. Spoon over the chicken mixture. (The first time I made this I used all the muffin mix, and the crust ended up WAY too thick. Now when I make it, I just spoon it over until it barely covers all the food. It hardly uses any of the muffin mix)
* Bake for 30 minutes or until the cornbread is golden. Sprinkle with cheese.

Chevy

We got a PUPPY DOG

Please understand that I have never had a dog in my whole entire life. False, I had one for about one month once. It's name was buddy, and everytime you'd go to play with it, it'd pee on you. It was a hyper hyper hyper puppy, and we couldn't keep it. The joy of having a dog was certainly short lived.

BUT me and Tyler got one yesterday. We named him Chevy, and I think it's safe to say he's about the cutest thing I've ever seen. It melts my heart everytime I look at him. I'm a proud little mother!

There Was Love In the Air

Hurray for marriage! I've been married a month and two weeks, and I can truthfully say that I have loved every second of it. I'm not even lying. I should have met Tyler years ago and got married then.
I have all my wedding pictures finally, and I just have to say that Meghan is THE greatest. She took all these pictures and I love every single one of them, so THANK YOU so much, Meghan.
Here's a little story of the special day.

Once upon a time there were two people very much in love.
Their names were Brittney

And Tyler

They were married August 14th, 2010

On their very special magical day they had the cutest flower girls by far,

A gorgeous maid of honor,

And a very handsome best man.

Brittney's flower of choice were the Billy Balls

She has awesome possum friends that came to share her fabulous day

Tyler has some fabulous sisters that he gets to share with Brittney now.

And now that they're married, they're all one big happy family....yay!!

And They Lived Happily Ever After

The End.

Only Just Love It

I did something I shouldn't have today, and I will never do it again until I have so much money that I don't know what to do with it.
I went to the Anthropologie website.
Big mistake. I love everything on there all the time, but it's always way too much money. Usually I can deal with it, but today I saw something, and I want it SSSSOOOOO bad. I only just LOVE it. And I even was going to buy it. I knew it was going to be a little bit on the pricey side, but I loved it so much that I'd probably pay anything for it. Except $230. I'm not that rich yet. Some day.

Isn't it a beauty? I'm crushed.
