Oh, The Places You'll Go

This week I had to work in Medicine Hat. Three days in a row. That right there should make you feel blessed and appreciative of the fact that you do not have to do that. The lawyers were all super nice and the witnesses were cute old men and I loved them, so I guess it really wasn't that bad. I really don't even mind working in Medicine Hat, but what I do mind is having to stay over night there in a hotel...by myself! I have never in my life done anything by myself. I took all my lifeguarding courses with friends, I went to college with friends, I moved to Edmonton with friends. I always ALWAYS make someone go with me. I don't like experiencing things by myself. I guess there's a first for everything. I didn't know what to do once I got to the hotel. I had hours to waste before I could go to sleep, so basically I sat on the bed and worked on my transcripts. When I finally did go to bed, guess what I found in the sheets! Long black hair. Oh, gross. I'm too shy to go do anything about it, so I just went and slept on the other side of the bed, and I slept like a baby until I had to wake up at 6 in the morning. Way too early for me. Best part of the hotel? The bedspread by far. Check it out. Lovely eh? If you can see it good enough, don't forget to look at the flamingo. Best part.
Also, me and Tyler played with chalk the other day. Everyone laughed at us when they'd walk by.

Father's Day

This is my dad, and I LOVE my dad.
I love lots of things about my dad, way too much to list, but here are my top 5 things I love about my dad.
1. He still gives me hugs. I may be 21, but as long as I'm living, I will always need my dad's hugs.
2. He can talk to ANYONE. Seriously. We mock him a lot about this because he'll talk to anyone wherever we are, but really, I'm completely jealous.
3. He makes the GREATEST popcorn. If you have not had it yet, you are missing out.
4. He takes me out to lunch whenever we're both in Lethbridge. Lunch dates are my favorite.
5. My dad is the greatest dad in the world. No doubt about it.
6. Does number 5 even count? Well, here's 6 just in case. He loves his family. He would do anything for us! We're really so lucky to have him as a dad. I don't know what we'd do without him.

Tyler

So this only took me 483 days to get this blog thing figured out, but I finally have one! I'm the number one blog creeper. I'm not even kidding, so I figured I should maybe get one. Also, I think if I wasn't so in love right now and engaged, I'd probably be disgusted by my blog. Usually this would be WAY too lovey-dovey for me, but I guess this is what happens when you're in love. Who would have thought.
I was thinking the other day, and I realized none of my friends even know Tyler. Some of you have met him, but he was probably all shy and awkward, just like me. He's really not shy and awkward at all. I know you're all dying to get to know him before I get married to him, so here's a list of things he loves to do! Tyler's going to kill me, but enjoy!
He loves to DANCE

His favorite restaurant is OSHOS

He's an excellent SKATER

He makes very good BIRD NOISES

He likes listening to SYSTEM OF A DOWN

and he LOVES ME!
